Disorganized Tropical Storm Emily could hit Florida Saturday

ATLANTIC — Tropical Storm Emily is still poorly organized but remains on a track to strike the Florida peninsula in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Currently, a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the US Virgin Islands and Haiti.

A Warning has been issued for Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic and the surrounding area.

Emily is located southeast of San Juan Puerto Rico moving west at about 14 mph. The storm is expected to make a west-northwest turn within the next 48 hours, bringing the path toward Florida.
