Bob Collins, 80, died July 25, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Saltillo, Miss., and lived in Sebastian for 16 years, coming from Island Lake, Ill.
Before retirement, he was a traffic engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
He was a member of the American Legion of Wauconda, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Collins, of Sebastian; daughter, Carolyn Cameron, of Mciver Ear Falls, Ontario, Canada; sisters, Sarah Anne Rogers and Margaret Collins, both of Tupelo, Miss., and Judy Raines, of Saltillo, Miss.; brother, Charlie Collins, of Tacoma, Wash.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach.
No services are planned.
