VERO BEACH — The Island Images Gallery of Hope invites you to attend their Artists Reception for the juried “High Dynamic Range” photography exhibit. The reception, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 5, kicks off the exhibit, which runs through August 24.
Meet the artists, enjoy wine and cheese, and see what photographers have been striving to capture and present since the early days when large black and white negatives were hand-altered, layered, and then printed. Current technologies allow digital images to be combined and tone mapped to produce spectacular pictures that range from photo-realism to those that stretch illusion and reality.
The High Dynamic Range exhibit encompasses color and black and white photographic interpretations with over 20 outstanding images by eight talented photographic artists including featured juror Kim Seng AKA “Captain Kimo”. These dynamic images will be the gallery’s featured exhibit through August 24.
The gallery is located at 2036 14th Avenue, Suite 101, in the Historic Theater Plaza in Downtown Vero Beach.
