Paul Frederick Sharnet, 94, died June 30, 2011, at Atlantic Healthcare Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in West New York, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 11 years, coming from Kingston, N.Y.
Before retiring, he was a manager for an A&P supermarket.
He worked for Hercules Powder Co. as a tool and die maker.
He taught tool and die making at Ulster Community College, Kingston.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Rosemary Sharnet, of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Gary Sharnet and Bruce Sharnet; and daughter, Karen Miller.
