Ilse Anna “Cricket” Smith, 80, died June 29, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Berlin and lived in Vero Beach for 50 years, coming from Tampa.
She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
She was married for 38 years to James Smith, who died later June 29.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Clifford, of Sebastian; sister, Carey Dabenigno; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Cargill; and daughter, Marylou Fleming.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. July 9 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian.
