James Ralph Thompson, 91, of Vero Beach, died June 25, 2011, at Harbor Chase of Vero Beach.
Born in Hermitage, Ark., he had been a resident of Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Bowling Green, Ky.
A Veteran of World War II, he had served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his son, J. Stegar Thompson, of Seattle, Wash.: one daughter, Leslie A. Kendall, of Amity, Ark.; three stepsons, Steve Carson, of Lexington, Ky., Stan Carson, of Bowling Green, Ky., and Drake Carson, of Bowling Green, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn Dollar Thompson, and his second wife, Martha Allen Thompson.
Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
