INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at FAU is offering a Kayak Tour at the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge from 8:15 to 10:15 pm on Saturday, July 30.
In the evening, the waters of the Indian River Lagoon come alive with bioluminescence as tiny dinoflagellates and schools of fish become underwater fireworks.
Prior to the kayaking adventure the group will meet at Dixie Crossroads Restaurant in Merritt Island for dinner (optional).
Cost: $35 or $20 with your own kayak. Cost does not include dinner. Carpooling to Dixie Crossroads is available.
