Naming opportunities exist for Habitat’s new Office and Training Center

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY–The new Indian River Habitat for Humanity Office and Training Center (OTC) will house existing staff and will enable them to train and educate homeowners and their children in collaboration with other non-profit organizations in Indian River County.

Thanks to the gifts of many generous donors, the new Office and Training Center is well underway and a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony has been scheduled for November 17, 2011.

In addition to celebrating the new OTC, this event will celebrate Indian River Habitat for Humanity’s 20th anniversary in Indian River County. A highlight of this special event will be the unveiling of the Cornerstone Donors wall (individuals who have made cumulative cash contributions of $25,000 or more during the past twenty years) as well as recognition of donors who have generously contributed to the building of the new, permanent Office and Training Center building.

Naming opportunities for the OTC still exist and run from $2,500 to $250,000. Currently, they still need to raise $129,000 to reach the fundraising goal of $250,000 which represents 1/3 of the cost of the building ($250,000 was raised through a generous bequest, and $250,000 is being raised through IRHFH’s Deconstruction Program).

All gifts, large or small, for this important project are welcome. In order to be recognized at the ribbon cutting ceremony on November 17, 2011, gifts need to be received by IRHFH no later than July 31, 2011.

To help support this endeavor, visit www.irchabitat.org, or mail your gift to Indian River Habitat for Humanity, 4568 N US Highway 1,Vero Beach, FL 32967. Please note “OTC” in your check’s memo section.
