Dorothy Raub Kides, 86, of Vero Beach, died on June 22, 2011.
In 1985, Kides moved to Barefoot Bay from Trenton, N.J., where she was a secretary in the Ewing Township School system.
She was an active square dancer and tennis player.
While living in Barefoot Bay, she was a director in the AARP Chapter No. 1263 and a member of the Silver Notes vocal group.
Following the death of her husband Charles in 2003, she moved to the Isles of Vero.
While living there she was a volunteer in both the library and the store and she was an avid rummy cube and bingo player.
She was the daughter of Harry and Florence Raub of Hellertown, PA.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tony Lauria, of Landenberg, Pa.; two granddaughters and three great granddaughters.
There will be no calling hours or public service.
