Walter “Bill” Wilson Bond, 79, died June 21, 2011, at Palm Gardens of Vero Beach.
He was born in Daytona Beach and lived in Vero Beach since 1994, coming from Indiana.
Before retirement, he was an outside sales distributor to various car dealerships in Indiana and Illinois.
He served in the Army.
He was a graduate of Monticello High School and received his bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University in 1955.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Susie Bond; sons, Mark Bond, of Stafford, Texas, and Jeff Bond, of Noblesville, Ind.; daughters, D. B. Gruener, of Brownsburg, Ind., Mary Chasteen, of Greenwood, Ind., Sherry Etheridge, of Lavergne, Tenn., and Tiffany Smith, of Fort Smith, Ark; brothers, Bruce Bond, of Carmel, Ind., and Bobby Bond, of Noblesville; and 15 grandchildren.

No services are planned.
