INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at FAU presents a Summer Film Series & Ice Cream Social from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19 featuring two films.
Film 1 is “Seeing in the Dark.”
Celebrate the wonders of stargazing, from kids learning the constellations to amateur astronomers doing professional grade research, discovering planets and exploding stars, with an introduction by Dr. Jon Bell, Hallstrom Planetarium Director, IRSC.
Film 2 is “Secret Light in the Sea” (Marine Bioluminescence).
The films will begin at 3 p.m., are open to the general public; there is no charge for admission. The Ice Cream Social will begin at 2:30 pm. Cost for members is $3; nonmembers $5
