Shirley Carr, 85, died June 11, 2011, at her home in Vero Beach.
Carr was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for the last 22 years.
She met her husband of 64 years when she was working as a switchboard operator at GE Wireworks in Euclid, Ohio.
Carr loved decorating and entertaining in the 14 different homes she lived in across the country.
Survivors include her husband Ed Carr; children Debra Murdock, of Dallas, Texas, Jeff Carr and spouse Bonnie, of Leonia, N.J., Stacey Dahlstrom and spouse Steve, of Minneapolis, Minn., 3 grandchildren, Zac Carr and spouse Lindsey, Lindsay Carr, James Dahlstrom; and one great grandchild, Auden Carr.
