Nancy J. Powers Andritter, died June 13, 2011, at VNA Hospice in Vero Beach.
She was born in Ossining, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1993, coming from Connecticut.
She worked in the banking industry for 22 years, including eight years at SunTrust Bank in Fort Pierce as an administrative assistant to the group leader.
She was recognized in 2009 with an award for appreciation by the Elks of Sebastian for her efforts for making 150 lapgans for the veterans hospitals in Jacksonville and West Palm Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Hans J. Andritter; daughters, Dianne Ashworth, of Danbury, Conn., and Sue Ashworth, of Bethel, Conn.; son, Eric Ashworth, of Orange, Conn.; stepdaughters, Sandy Graham, of Port Orange and Karen Weeks, of Pensacola; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
No local services are planned.
Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Brookfield, Conn.
Arrangements are by National Cremation Society.
