Loy Schasane, 75, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, May 24 at her residence.
She was born July 21, 1935, in Zion, Ill., and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1955, coming from Illinois.
Schasane worked at the Powder Puff/Studio 19 Salon for over 30 years.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Joe Schasane, of Vero Beach; son, Wayne Schasane, of Vero Beach; two daughters, Florinda Mazzarella and Cheryl Monroe, both of Vero Beach; sister, Karen Schmucker, of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Ruth Robinson, brother, Jack Robinson and sister, Yolanda Schasane.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel, Vero Beach.
