INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Florida Police & Fire Games are returning to the Treasure Coast, June 18 to 25. Volunteers are needed, particularly to assist with registration from Sunday, June 19 through Thursday, June 23.
The games, held the third full week each June, are open to Florida law enforcement, firefighters, and military (active duty, reserves, National Guard and retirees from all military branches). There are approximately 5,000 competitors representing over 200 different agencies competing in 45+ Olympic-style sporting events, and the estimated economic impact to the Treasure Coast, last year was over $3 million.

Low Light Combat Handgun, Tuesday, June 21
Firefighter Challenge of the Fittest, Friday, June 24
Mountain Bike, Monday, June 20
Soccer (outdoor) 7 vs. 7, Monday & Tuesday, June 20 & 21
SWAT Obstacle Course, Friday, June 24. Individual in the morning; Team in the afternoon.
Trash Can Fishing Tournament, Captains meeting Friday, June 24 at 7 pm and Tournament Saturday June 25.
