Herbert Frederick Holin, 72, of Vero Beach, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at his home.
Holin was born March 15, 1939, in Riverside, Ill.
He was a resident of Vero Beach for 18 years, coming from Plantation.
Herbert served in the United States Marine Corp.
He received his master’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
He was a member of the Indian River Club, and attended Our Savior Lutheran Church.
He was an investment counselor with Willoughby, Holin, Harris & Rentner prior to his retirement.
After his retirement he owned H.H. Management.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carolyn; sons, Matthew (Tanya) Holin, of Westfield, Wis., and Andrew (Denise) Holin, of Sun Prairie, Wis.; daughter, Marnie (Jeff) Gaskell, of Vero Beach; and eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1850 6th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
