Frederic “Rick” Sutton Elliott Jr. died April 25, 2011.
He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Little Silver, N.J., and Vero Beach. He worked for the National Decal Corp. in Philadelphia.
He was an institutional bond salesman on Wall Street.
He served in the Coast Guard.
Before retirement, he served on the board of trustees of Bucknell University for 10 years.
He retired in 1998 as a managing director of Lehman Brothers.
After retirement, he served on the boards of the Community YMCA in New Jersey and the Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County in Vero Beach.
He was a member of Rumson Country Club in Rumson, N.J., and John’s Island Club and Red Stick Golf Club in Vero Beach.
He graduated from Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pa. in 1957.
He received his bachelor’s of science degree in business from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. in 1961.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carol “Kitty” Elliott; son, Frederic Elliott III; daughters, Leigh Irvine and Linda Gesell; sister, Ginny Boileau; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 am May 3 at Tower Hill First Presbyterian Church, Red Bank, N.J.
