Vero Beach High Soccer Boosters to host benefit golf tourney

VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach High School Soccer Boosters are a having a Golf Fundraising Tournament at Sandridge Golf Club on June 11. Proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Soccer Programs at Vero Beach High School. In addition, the VBHS Soccer Boosters will donate 5 percent of the net proceeds to the US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Program.

TOPSsoccer is a community-based Outreach Program to help young athletes with disabilities.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The format is a 4-Person Scramble with an 8:30 a.m. Shotgun Start. The entry fee is $80 per person and includes a buffet lunch.

This year’s event includes the John Daly Beauty Contest for the most creative golf attire. The winner will receive a Gift certificate to Loudmouth Golf.

A lucky golfer will win two tickets and two pre-game sideline passes to an Atlanta Falcons home game.

There are awards for Winning Teams, Longest Drive, Hole-in-One, Closest to the Pin for both Men and Women and numerous door prizes from local businesses.
