Eltra Lattimore, 97, died April 13, 2011, at her home in Vero Beach.
She was born in Ashburn, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach since 1964, coming from Fort Pierce.
She worked as a nurse’s aide for Mecca Convalescence Home.
She was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include a son, Lorenzo Lattimore, of Vero Beach; daughters, Willie Mae Agnew, Daisy Jackson and Dorothy Deyounk, all of Riviera Beach, and Doris Chambliss, of Sebastian; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lattimore.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. April 22 at New Prospect Baptist Church and from 9 to 11 a.m. April 23 at Sarah’s Memorial Chapel.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. April 23 at New Prospect Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Gifford Cemetery.
