Christopher Glen Hill, 39, Vero Beach

Christopher Glen Hill, 39, of Vero Beach, died unexpectedly in a boating accident on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.

He was born on Dec. 28, 1971, in Tampa, and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from his birthplace.

Hill graduated from Marantha Christian School in 1990.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served from October 1991 to October 1995, including during the Somali conflict.

He was the owner of Intrepid Web Design and was a professional bass angler.

Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Renee Hill, of Vero Beach; son, Shea Austin Hill, of Vero Beach; sister, Jennifer Schirard, of Vero Beach; mother Nora L. “Bambi” Maeglin and step-father, Jerry Maeglin, of Vero Beach,as well as maternal grandmother, Lenora Fosco, of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was predeceased by his father, Glen Roy Hill in 1996, brother, Steven Scott Hill in 2010, and paternal grandmother, Virginia Taylor in 2010.

A memorial service which will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Veteran’s Memorial Island Sanctuary in Vero Beach, is open to all family and friends.
