James Wright Lehman, 71, died March 25, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in the District of Columbia and was a resident of Vero Beach for more than 20 years, coming from Maryland.
He served in the Navy and was stationed for four years in Japan.
He was a 1st level supervisor with Bell Atlantic Telephone Co.
Survivors include his son, Richard Lehman, of New York City.
Private family services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
