Carol Ann Robinson, 69, died March 21, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Chicago and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Harwich Port, Mass., and West Hartford, Conn.
She was a teacher of the deaf for 32 years at the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Conn.
She attended the Community Church in Vero Beach and the Pilgrim Congregational in Harwich Port, Mass.
She was a tutor with the Literacy Service of Indian River County program and a Big Sister in the Big Brother, Big Sister Program in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Russell C. Robinson Jr., of Vero Beach; son, R. Curtis Robinson III, of Granby, Conn.; brother, Ronald R. Fredriksen, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; sister, Jeanne E. Fredriksen, of Oak Forest, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristin Elaine Robinson.
