Catherine Jeanette Ides, 98, died March 20, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Sebastian for nine years, coming from Toms River, N.J.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Toms River.
She was the owner of Owens Bar & Grill, Newark, N.J., and Ides Diner, Toms River.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Frank, of Sebastian; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Michael Owens and William Ides; daughter, Belinda Tate; four brothers; and three sisters.
