Barbara Ann Fontaine, 71, of Sebastian, died on Friday, March 18, 2011 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Fontaine worked for Balfour Jewelers as a jeweler and manufacturer and at Indian River Estates as a housekeeper.
She was a Sebastian resident for 21 years coming from Central Falls, R.I., and was a volunteer at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Albert Fontaine, of Sebastian; daughter Diane Fontaine, of Sebastian; son David Fontaine, of Harrisville, R.I.; three grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, and Stephen; and two brothers Raymond Choquet, of Sebastian and Thomas Choquet, of Vero Beach.
She was predececeased by her sister Esther Kaplan, and five brothers, Arthur, Edward, William, James, and Joseph Choquet.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at United Church of Sebastian at 11 a.m.
