The STUDIO supports SafeSpace and Kidz Closet Charities

VERO BEACH —  The STUDIO, located in the Theatre Plaza on 14th Avenue in historic downtown Vero Beach, recently hosted a grand opening and fund-raising event. Raffle tickets for fun prizes were sold and all proceeds were donated to two local nonprofit organizations – Safespace Foundation and Kidz Closet Charities.

A bridal fashion show featured make-up and hairstyles, created by the talented staff from Mark’s at the Pointe Staff, and fashions from J Del Olmo Bridal Gallery. Culinary delights were provided by Catering by Adrienne Drew and Frosting. Festive musical entertainment was provided by DJ Carlos Sarli and Don Soledad Music. Other event participants included Tulaa Gallery & Boutique, Twirl Kids’ Boutique and Barefoot Café.

The STUDIO is a collaboration of three talented individuals who have joined forces to create a new way to plan events in the Treasure Coast Area. The trio includes Alba Vasquez, Alba Events; Andres Aguilar, Mystique Flowers; and Susie Canino, PS Photography.

With over 50 years of combined event planning experience, they can create innovative events with sophisticated flare, providing one-stop services from start to finish, including event design and theme development, flora, décor, photography and cinematography.

Since 1987, SafeSpace, a non-profit United Way organization serving victims of domestic abuse in Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties, provides emergency shelter with two 24 bedroom facilities and outreach services to individuals who have not entered a shelter but whose lives are being affected by domestic violence.

The vision of Kidz Closet Charities, a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed in 2009, is to provide clothing and items to women and children in Indian River County who are in need and at risk.
