E-FIT: Will routine changes reignite enthusiasm for workout?

I’m not afraid to admit it – I have fallen off the workout wagon. It has been since my last post that I’ve worked out. Apparently, working out electronically isn’t working out so well for me.

So, it’s time to re-assess.

I think I’ve just gotten burned out on the one “game” I’ve been using. I forget sometimes that I have another I could alternate with to avoid the tedium that comes with so many squats, leg lifts and floating lunges.

Don’t get me wrong, the one program I have been using has helped me to tone areas that are difficult to get, kept me motivated for about a year, and otherwise helped me to shed a few extraneous pounds.

But there’s only so far that has been able to take me before I psych myself out with  “Oh, I’m too tired” or “Oh, I don’t have time” and I say I’ll workout tomorrow.

Tomorrow comes and I repeat the cycle.

Does this happen to you, too?

So, today I renew my commitment to working out at home by changing things up and using my other program – the Wii Fit Plus, which is what I used before I got bored of that and went to The Biggest Loser “game.”

Maybe if I can remind myself from time to time that I have different titles to choose from, I won’t lose interest.

Only time will tell.
