VERO BEACH – Beginning Tuesday, March 8, the City of Vero Beach Public Works Department will begin construction of drainage improvements at Greytwig Road and Indian River Drive East.
The work is expected to last throughout the month of March and periodic lane closures will be necessary.
The work includes installing drainage pipe, structures and a pollution control structure. The purpose of the project is to provide treatment of stormwater before it is discharged into the Indian River Lagoon.
Please be advised that the work will involve the use of heavy equipment, therefore, all residents should exercise caution around the work site.
