Anita Evelyn Waterman, 96, died March 1, 2011, of complications resulting from a fall.
She was born Feb. 5, 1915.
She graduated from Georgian Court College in New Jersey, class of 1936.
She retired to Florida with her husband Bill in 1972.
She was a volunteer teacher’s aide at St. Helen’s School for 28 years.
A kind and gentle woman, generous and loving with a smile and a cheerful hello to all she met.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Survivors include her daughter, Deede Rich (Frank), of California; her son, Ed Waterman (Kathy), of New Hampshire; two granddaughters, Eileen Rogers (John), of Clifton Park, N.Y., Karin Beecher (Tom), of Newton, Mass.; three great-granddaughters, Megan Rogers, Caroline Beecher, Grace Beecher; and one great-grandson, Brian Rogers .
Services will be held in Port Chester, N.Y.
