Helen M. Kuhne, 95, Vero Beach

Helen M. Kuhne, 95, died March 2, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years, coming from her birthplace.

Before retiring, she was an office manager for several years at Walker G. Buckner Co., New York, and Bayshore Electric, Long Island, N.Y., for 20 years.

Survivors include her sons, Donald H. Kuhne, of Vero Beach and Edwin F. Kuhne, of Louisville, Tenn.; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Kuhne.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon March 7 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a funeral at noon.

Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Frank Strahorn was already considered a hero by his family, friends and marine brothers and sisters because of his military service around the world.
