Charlotte A. Kilker, 81, of Vero Beach, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Kilker was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Shenandoah, Pa., and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1987, coming from eastern Philadelphia.
She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
Kilker was employed with Keystone Lighting, Pennsbury School District, and General Motors.
Her survivors include her long time companion and best friend, Frank K. Wallace; sons, Miles F. (Patricia) Kilker, of Langhorne, Pa., Terence M. (Terri) Kilker, of Morrisville, Pa.; grandchildren, Jenna (Ryan) Tasker, Myles Kilker, Katie (Jeff) Lamonte, Laura (Anthony) Fresco, Melissa Lyn Kilker; great-grandchildren, Jackson Tasker, Lyam Kilker and Adam Kilker.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Saint Jude’s.
