9 a.m.  Angela King, AP, DOM: Balancing the Emotional Rollercoaster

Are we in control of our emotional reactions?  Come learn what modern neuro-science and ancient Chinese medicine has to say about how negative emotional patterns are created and stored in our bodies, conditioning us to react the way we do.  We will explore how to free ourselves from these patterns and live happier, healthier lives.

Many women, whether peri-menopausal or menopausal, may experience a hormone imbalance at some point during their life.  Come explore how hormone testing and balancing may help guide you to improve your overall health and help alleviate signs and symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, and PMS.

10:45 a.m.  Dawn Gordon, DC:  Deflame Your Body: Eliminate Inflammation with Diet & Nutrition

Every time you eat the wrong foods, you create inflammation in the body that will slowly but surely lead to chronic pain and disease.  Learn what foods to eliminate from your diet to stop this process and discover what foods you should eat to create an optimal environment for health.

11:15 a.m.  Julie Cielo LMT, CYT, RYT: Self Love: True Spiritual Transformation

12 p.m.  Melissa Dean, MD: Whole Heart Health: Secondary Risk Factors for Heart Disease in Women

Too often, doctors do not routinely monitor certain factors that increase a woman’s risk for heart disease.  Keep your heart healthy by learning all about these secondary risk factors, which include hormones, and how they change as we age.
