INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Storm Grove Middle School will host an Open House and guided tour/presentation of the campus, including several of the classroom buildings on Monday, March 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The open house and tours are meant to introduce the school and its offerings to parents and students who could be affected by middle school rezonings if the School Board approves such changes.
Nearly 400 current students at Gifford and Sebastian River middle schools could be moved to Storm Grove if the rezoning plans are approved.
Storm Grove Middle is located at 6400 57th Street, Vero Beach.
The Open House will begin at 6 p.m. with a welcome and sign-in as Storm Grove’s band, chorus and orchestra perform in the courtyard. Cheerleaders will serve as greeters.
From 6:15 to 6:30 p.m., there will be a showcase overview in the cafeteria and group tours will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Guests will be split into groups and led by members of the school’s National Junior Honor Society.
Tours will include 20 minutes in each of the following areas:
Grade level Showcase in each of the classroom buildings
Library – Pre-AP Philosophy and Showcase
Cafeteria – Unified Dress Policy
The evening will end at 7:30 p.m.
