Joseph I. Richardson, 88, died Feb. 21, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Trenton, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1983, coming from Hamilton Square, N.J.
He was a veteran, serving in World War II.
He worked as a residential builder in New Jersey.
Survivors include his daughters, Sharon Richardson, of Palm Beach Gardens, Terry Cokinos, of Sebastian, Patricia Richardson, of Hamilton, N.J., Alice Gerber, of Sebastian, Lisa Adams, of Mercerville, N.J.; brothers, Richard Richardson, of Columbus, N.J., and Raymond Richardson, of Pembroke Pines; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Alice Marie Richardson; and brothers, William Richardson and Robert Richardson.
