Margaret Sadie Tyson, 87, Vero Beach

Margaret Sadie Tyson, 87, died Feb. 20, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

She was born in Lock Haven, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Wellington.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dick (Gail) Tyson, of Roswell, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Carole Tyson (Jim) Denmark, of Vero Beach; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Lois) McGill, of Hobe Sound; grandson, David Denmark, of Vero Beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard Creighton Tyson.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Margaret Tyson.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2011, at Strunk Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian with Pastor Jon McDivitt of First Church of God, officiating.

With the sudden death of Sebastian River High School student Jake Beecher still fresh, family, friends, teammates and coaches continue to come to terms with the tragic crash that took his life.
