SEBASTIAN — The husband and wife duo, Timothy Hume Behrendt and Peggy Spencer Behrendt, known as Harp & Harmony will be the featured performers at the North Indian River County Library Coffee House on Friday, March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. They play classical, Celtic, folk, bluegrass, and country music using over 11 different instruments including the harp, fiddle, harmonica, guitar, flute, keyboard, etc. The couple live in the Shawangunk Nature Preserve, a 450-acre forever wild, deep ecology, non-profit holistic learning and cultural center which they co-founded, in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
The evening will include an open mike for poetry readings and gourmet coffee and pastries will be served. Admission is free but donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the refreshments. The featured group is sponsored by funds from the Friends of the North Indian River County Library.
The Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian, three miles west of U.S. 1 and three miles east of I-95 near the intersection of Roseland Road.
