Patrick N. Dimperio, 88, died Jan. 28, 2011, in Vero Beach.
He was born and raised in Syracuse, N.Y., and was a seasonal resident of Vero Beach since 1992.
He graduated from Most Holy Rosary High School, Syracuse, in 1941.
He was a custodian with the Syracuse City School District for 37 years.
He was a clerk typist in the Army with the 300th General Hospital Division in World War II and honorably discharged in 1945.
Survivors include his daughters, Jean Hoag, Gerry Kaufman and Jackie Stanton; sons, David Dimperio and Steve Dimperio; half-sisters, Margaret Salerno and Kathy Kowich; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, F. Joseph; brothers, Carl A. and James N. Dimperio; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette, N.Y.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Feb. 26 at the funeral home and 10 a.m. in Church of the Nativity at St. Joseph, LaFayette.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa, N.Y.
