Charles Chidi Okororie, 38, died Feb. 10, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Nigeria and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Lithonia, Ga., where he lived for 13 years.
He moved to the United States in 1998.
He was an independent contractor in the communications industry.
He was a member of Overcomer’s Christian Fellowship in Stone Mountain, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Veronique Worrell, of Vero Beach; sons, Uzoma Darlington Okororie, of Nigeria and Jordan Okororie, of Vero Beach; daughter, Jasmine Okororie, of Vero Beach; mother, Madam Nkemnasom Okororie, of Nigeria; brothers, Ifeanyi Joseph Okororie, Onyeka Festus Okororie and Uche Ignatius Okororie, all of Nigeria; and sisters, Ifeoma Catherine Olufunsho and Chimuanya Charity Okororie, both of Nigeria.
He was preceded in death by his father, Augustine Okororie.
A memorial service will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
