VERO BEACH — Box Lunch Bingo, the popular event benefiting the Senior Resource Association, returns to Vero Beach on Tuesday, March 8. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the games begin at noon at the newly renovated Schumann Hall Senior Center at 686 14th Street. Proceeds support the organization’s programs, which include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Services, Social Entrée Meals, Senior Center Activities and Transportation Services.
Guests of all ages can attend Box Lunch Bingo as a Bingo Babe, paying $80 for one bingo card for each of the eight games plus lunch, or be a Big Spender for $150 and play two cards for each game.
Winners take home prizes donated by Vero Beach’s most exclusive shops. Other attractions include the purse game in which participants win a prize for having a specific item in their purse, and a 50/50 drawing in which guests can win 50% of the proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets.
“The event is definitely a do not miss event,” says Karen Deigl, President and CEO of the Senior Resource Association. “This event always turns out to be the most entertaining lunch in town. There are always some unique surprises at Box Lunch Bingo.”
