Kathryn Wiley, 98, Vero Beach

Kathryn Wiley, 98, died Feb. 6, 2011, at the Consulate Health Care, Vero Beach.

She was born in Union City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 12 years, coming from Tequesta.

She was a bookkeeper for Abramson’s Department Store in Flushing, N.Y., and Bloomindales in Fresh Meadows, N.Y.

She was a member of the Golden Agers and Italian American Club and also a member of St. Judes Catholic Church in Tequesta.

Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Grover, of Sebastian, and Janet Henning, of E. Northport, N.Y.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred B. Wiley; brothers, Michael and Nicholas Castaldi; and sisters, Carmela Baldo and Josephine Buerkert.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Feb. 10 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
