Edna B. Thayer, 93, died Jan. 18, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Boston and lived in Vero Beach for 10 years, coming from Hollis, N.H., and Wells, Maine.
She was of the Catholic faith and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons, William Thayer Jr., of Kingman, Ariz., and Charles Thayer, of Vero Beach; daughter, Anne Dean, of Vero Beach; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Thayer Sr.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Blake Funeral Home in Chelmsford, Mass.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Jan. 30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chelmsford, followed by burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford.
A memorial Mass will be conducted at a later date in Vero Beach.
