Cal Shank, 85, died Jan. 17, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Homerville, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for four years, coming from Stuart.
Before retirement, he was executive vice president of Ross Oil, Miami.
He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Mariner Sands Chapel, Stuart.
He was an F&AM 32nd degree Mason; member of The Executives Club, Miami, and Mariner Sands Golf & Country Club, Stuart; and past chairman emeritus of The Martin Memorial Foundation.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Donna; daughters, Dianne S. Brode, of Austin, Texas, and Sheila S. Burton, of Jacksonville; son, Donald C. Shank, of Atlanta; brother, Marion Shank, of Medina, Ohio; sister, Phyllis Burdick, of Escondido, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
