Anna Elinor Parker Simon, 86, Vero Beach

Anna Elinor Parker Simon, 86, died Jan. 16, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

She was born in Alliance, Ohio, and lived in Florida since the early 1960s, coming from Michigan.

She was a lifetime member and past president of the Woman’s Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10210 of which she had served on the Honor Guard.

Survivors include her sister, Catherine Vaught, of Fort Pierce; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alonzo Parker and Victor Simon; son, Charles J. McPhee; two brothers; sister; and a grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Services: A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at The Isles of Vero, 1700 Waterford Drive, Vero Beach.

Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
