Kirk Cameron to speak at Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast

VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast Committee is proud to announce that TV and movie star Kirk Cameron has accepted an invitation to be this year’s keynote speaker. The Breakfast will return to its former location in a huge tent on the grounds of Riverside Park on Thursday, February 24 at 7:30 a.m.  Last year’s event brought over 1,200 of the area’s leaders and residents together for presentations by local and national speakers.  The faithful share prayer and song and a meal catered by Toojays. Kirk Thomas Cameron (born October 12, 1970) is an American actor best-known for his role as Mike Seaver on the television situation comedy Growing Pains (1985-1992), as well as several other television and film appearances as a child actor. “The purpose of promoting the breakfast is to encourage other business people to start this ministry in their respective communities, by dedicating our cities to Christ, and to glorify Him in the public square,” said Bona.

Gospel singer Wintley Phipps, a Vero Beach resident, will be performing special music at the Breakfast.  Phipps is an ordained minister, world-renowned vocal artist, and innovative initiator of special projects such as the US Dream Academy.  He has been the featured speaker and performer at many notable occasions around the world, performing for American Presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W.
