VERO BEACH — On Wednesday, January 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. more than 40 businesses in the OceanSide Business Association have graciously agreed to open their doors as a new addition to the 2011 Charity Cup Week calendar of events. Throughout the day, 15% of all sales will be donated to Quail Valley Charities to benefit 24 non-profit children’s programs in Indian River County. Additionally, close to 40 professional artists have donated works of art including paintings, sculpture and jewelry, which will be available for viewing and purchase from January 16 to 22 at the Palm House Gallery & Studio, 3227 Ocean Drive. An Artists’ Show, Reception and Sale will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19 at the Palm House Gallery.
During the complimentary reception, visitors may browse the works of art while enjoying live music, wine and hors d’oeuvres speak with the artists about their passion and creative works and purchase various pieces for their personal collections. 25% of all sales will be donated to Quail Valley Charities.
