INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Education Foundation of Indian River County is pleased to announce that more than $780,000 in scholarships and academic awards will be offered at the upcoming Indian River Regional Science and Engineering Fair (IRRSEF) on Saturday, January 29.
In addition, the following scholarships will be offered: the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Indian River State College, the Link Foundation and the George E. Warren Corporation Scholarships.
Presently, the Education Foundation is seeking volunteers to judge the science fair and sponsors to help underwrite the awards and operation of the IRRSEF. The IRRSEF serves more than 27 public and private schools in Indian River County. The success of this regional event is attributed to the continued support of the community.
The Indian River Regional Science and Engineering Fair is presented in partnership with the School District of Indian River County and is supported by private donations and grant assistance. This year’s major sponsors are: George E. Warren Corporation, Syngenta, Quail Valley Charities, Florida Power & Light Foundation, the Piper Aircraft Corporation, Pro-Spine, and Panera Bread.
