Second Annual Rides Extravaganza announced

VERO BEACH – The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Second Annual RIDES Extravaganza, a motorsports and collector event will take place on Saturday, February 5 at the Indian River County Fairgrounds.  RIDES features exhibits of a wide variety of “rides” including categories for antique cars, classics, hot rods, race cars, new cars, trucks, exotic cars and motorcycles along with food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family in a festival atmosphere.

In addition to vehicle exhibits and demonstrations, this year’s RIDES will include a Car Corral and Swap Meet.  Additional family-oriented activities include bounce houses and face painting for children, as well as entertainment, food, shopping, and door prizes.  General admission for this affordable day of fun is $5, with children 10 and under admitted free.

“The second annual RIDES Extravaganza will bring car and motorcycle enthusiasts and their families together for this sensational event,” stated Beverly Keehner, event organizer. “Based on last year’s tremendous success, we are confident the festival will, again, draw people from outside our region. Moving the date to a seasonal weekend will bring business to area retail, restaurants, and hotels.”

“While there are area car shows and informal car get-togethers, there is no area event like RIDES where all automobiles and motorcycles are brought together with vendors and suppliers” stated Brian Holmes, owner of Art of the Line, a local pin-striping business.

The event provides a limited number of business exhibit spaces inside the designated business trade show area at the fairgrounds. Area car dealers will also have the opportunity to place their new car models on display for the public.

Event sponsorships, vehicle exhibit space, and business expo registration are now being reserved; space is limited.  The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce is a 4-star Accredited Chamber representing the business community by providing services, benefits and leadership for positive growth and change.

Interested exhibitors, vendors, and businesses should call Beverly Keehner at the Chamber of Commerce at 772-567-3491 or email her at events@indianriverchamber.com for registration applications and materials.
