Extreme Cave Diving film offered at North Library

SEBASATIAN — Extreme Cave Diving is the title of the film that will be shown by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library on Thursday, January 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.  Admission is free and open to the public. Blue holes in the Bahamas draw cave divers to explore underwater caves under extremely risky conditions.  In this film experienced divers are joined by a team of climatologists, paleontologists and anthropologists who investigate the hidden history that can be found in this “alternate universe.”  They experience cave-ins, zero visibility, the use of “re-breathers” to sustain long term dives, and much more.  Their findings provide clues to earth’s history.

The North Indian River County Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Boulevard (C.R. 512), three miles west of U.S. 1 in Sebastian.
