Robert Glenn Cooper Jr., 74, died Dec. 24, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.
He was a 1954 graduate of Vero Beach High School and attended Florida State University.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Althea Miller Cooper, of Sebastian; daughters, Kelly Ward, of Vero Beach, Kathy Webb, of Nephi, Utah, Kristy Tenbus, of Warrensburg, Mo., Ky Welchel, of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Dec. 29 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a 3 p.m. service with the Rev. Buddy Tipton, Pastor of Central Assembly of God, officiating.
