Gladys Daniels Buckner, 84, died Dec. 12, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifetime resident of Indian River County.
She was a member of Bibleway Church of God in Christ where she served on the Mother’s Board and Missions Department.
Survivors include her sons, Jack Buckner, Ricky Buckner, Michael Buckner and Randy Buckner, all of Vero Beach; daughters, Janice Jenkins, Sandra Thomas, Gladys Jean Williams, Sheila Buckner and Tracy Nash, all of Vero Beach; sister, Elizabeth Duncan, of Fort Pierce; 33 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, George Buckner Jr., Ellis Buckner and Leroy Buckner; brothers, Salpho Daniels and Buddy Daniels, and sisters, Mattie Wright, Ruby Wallace and Ida Lee Daniels.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 17 at Bibleway Church of God in Christ.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at First Church of God, Vero Beach.
Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery, Gifford. Arrangements are by Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel.
