Seacoast National Bank supports March of Dimes

VERO BEACH — Seacoast National Bank recently announced that it is a corporate sponsor for March of Dimes in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties.  Recently, to help raise awareness for the March of Dimes premature birth awareness campaign, Seacoast employees sponsored and decorated a holiday tree in the traditional pink and blue March of Dimes colors that is on display at the Indian River Mall. In addition, the bank is sponsoring a team for the March of Dimes March for Babies to be held on March 5, 2011 in Indian River County.  Seacoast employees Bobbi Helmacy, Ann Thomas and Rochelle Thomas will co-captain the bank’s 2010-2011 March of Dimes campaign in Indian River County.

The March of Dimes is dedicated to reducing the number of babies born early and/or too small; programs focus on education about the signs of preterm labor and research into the causes.

Seacoast National Bank is the operating arm of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida (NASDAQ:SBCF).  With $2.1 billion in assets and 39 branches from Orlando to Palm Beach Gardens, it is one of the largest community banks headquartered in Florida.
